As one of the founding partners of Dolfinwise, Howard Querido brings a wealth of experience in helping clients to achieve financial security and prosperity. Howard works along all points in the wealth spectrum, from assisting Mum and Dad investors to plan for a prosperous future, to guiding high net worth families in preserving their legacy for future generations. He specialises in tailoring plans to suit varying stages of life, developing strategies to achieve future goals, even helping clients realise they can strive further than may had been first thought.
When working with clients, Howard wears two hats; that of financial advisor and life coach. He believes in taking clients on a journey and as such, encourages them to contemplate the future as long-term planning is the surest way to deliver the best results. Trust is an enormous element of the relationship and Howard has been honoured to service the financial planning needs of multiple generations of families, through to children and grandchildren. He is also trusted by clients who themselves come from the financial sector including bank managers, options traders, economists, mortgage brokers, property developers and insurance brokers. Another specialty is assisting doctors and other medical professionals to invest wisely in long-term strategies.
A high achiever since earning a full academic scholarship to university, Howard has maintained a steady trajectory of success. Since formally entering the financial services industry in 1993, he has achieved notable accolades including being named Westpac’s National Financial Adviser of the Year in 2003, and runner-up in 2004. He has held multiple management roles over his career and sat on a number of boards. Today, he is an active member of the Financial Planning Association and co-partners Dolfinwise.
Howard is instrumental in providing clients with advice on wealth creation, risk management, investment planning superannuation, pre-retirement and retirement planning and estate and aged care planning. An ex-army officer, he maintains his fitness through a range of outdoor and sporting activities and is the club secretary of the Albany Creek GPS Junior Rugby Club. He is happily married to Lauren and is kept on his toes by his three beautiful young children.
